How long does the result last?
Depending on the point of application and the density of the material used, the duration of hyaluronic acid varies from 1 to 1 ½ year.
Are there any side effects?
The side effects of the treatment are minimal. Usually, there is a redness in the application area, which subsides in about 1 hour.
A slight swelling and more rarely some bruises, may appear at the application points but this is not a worrying phenomenon since to some extent it is expected and certainly their duration is very limited.
In which cases is the treatment with Hyaluronic acid contraindicated?
The most important contraindications for the application of hyaluronic acid are pregnancy, thromboembolic events, receiving anticoagulant treatment and the history of hyaluronic acid allergy.
Hyaluronic acid treatment should be avoided if at least one week has not elapsed since taking anticoagulants or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
