How long does Botox last?

Repeat treatment is scheduled when muscle movement begins to return, not before.
When do Botox results appear?
The first changes are visible within 3–5 days, and the full effect is apparent within 10–14 days. This is why a follow-up appointment is scheduled 2 weeks later: at this point, we check for symmetry and, if necessary, a minor complementary correction is made without additional charge.

There is no single “best” product for everyone. Botox (Vistabel), Dysport/Azzalure, and Letybo all contain botulinum toxin type A, with similar efficacy and duration in clinical studies. They differ in dosage (Dysport units are not equivalent 1:1 to Botox units) and slightly in diffusion. The result depends on the correct dose and the doctor's technique, not the brand. What to avoid after Botox?
For the first 4 hours, do not lie down or rub or press the treated area. For 24 hours, avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, saunas, solariums, makeup, and facial massages. You can wash your hair from the next day with lukewarm water, without vigorously rubbing your forehead. You can sleep normally in the evening, preferably on your back. At what age can I get Botox?
Legally from 18, but in practice, most people start between 25–35 years old, when expression lines on the glabella or forehead begin to be visible even at rest (preventative Botox). There is no upper age limit; at 40+, it is often combined with hyaluronic acid or skin boosters. It is not performed during pregnancy and breastfeeding, in cases of neuromuscular diseases, or active infection in the area.
Why didn't Botox "work" and what happens if the result is not good?
The most common reasons are low dosage, incorrect injection points, and evaluation before 14 days have passed; very rarely, antibodies after many treatments. Minor asymmetry or a “heavy” brow can be corrected at the follow-up. Eyelid ptosis is rare, temporary, and resolves on its own within 2–6 weeks, with eye drops if needed. Is Botox safe?
