At 40 the skin has started to lose its elasticity, radiance and firmness both on the face and neck.
The hormonal changes that the woman has begun to experience, contribute to the skin becoming duller and drier, while discolorations and wrinkles are now more obvious.
Therefore the need for hydration and reconstruction becomes more necessary. Here are some simple steps to follow:
We prefer milder cleaning products that do not cause dryness on the skin. Cleansing emulsions instead of gels are ideal at this age.
For hydration and reconstruction of tired and aged skin, the use of serum rich in hyaluronic acid or vitamin C and E is recommended.
Our moisturizer should be more enriched in retinol, peptides, fruit acids and antioxidants,that need to be concentrated in higher percentages than in the cream we used at 30.
Note: We use this cream in the evening, while in the morning for extra hydration we need to use either a simple moisturizer or serum.
-Rich eye cream for wrinkles and sagging around the eye area.
-Whitening cream to reduce freckles and blemishes.
We use it after the anti-aging creams. We prefer to put them locally on the lesions or on the whole face and this is because the creams with retinol and fruit acids, thanks to the exfoliation they cause, allow the bleaches to penetrate more and therefore become more effective. In addition, we use it only at night and preferably during the winter.
-Sunscreen is necessary daily even in winter.
Finally, all this does not matter, if our diet is not healthy, if we do not sleep properly, do not exercise enough and do not feel well.
It is important not to let our body take in bad foods and forget about exercise, especially from an early age onwards. Many women do exercises while making a beauty mask at home. Think about how good you are doing yourself if you do abdominals while you have placed a moisturizing mask on your face! So think that with a few small changes you will improve your image but mainly the image you have of yourself.
