Laser hair removal is the best solution for those women who want to get rid of unwanted hair permanently.
Unlike traditional hair removal methods, Laser Alexandriti hair removal offers a permanent result.
With the application of the Laser, the hair decomposes, thanks to the photothermolysis, ie the absorption of the light emitted by the laser, from the melanin of the hair and its conversion into heat.
In this way, the hair is destroyed up to the follicle, while with each repetition of the application, it comes out weaker and weaker, until it finally never grows back!
Before and After photos
Application areas
Legs
The whole leg, or individual points such as the thighs, calves, shins, buttocks and toes.
Removal of hair growth, without affecting the underlying glands, since the laser penetrates only the surface layers of the skin.
Arms
The whole area, from fingers to arms.
Face
Includes upper lip, sideburns and jaw.
Abdomen
It covers the entire abdomen, without affecting the internal organs.
Facial hair persists more, as it is greatly affected by possible hormonal disorders!
Session process
The hairs at the area of application should be visible (at least 2-5 mm).
Although it is not a painful procedure, in sensitive areas such as the bikini or face, an anesthetic cream can be applied topically beforehand (around 30 minutes), or ice is applied during the procedure.
After the session, a special cream is applied to the area, while two weeks later, during which time you do not need to shave, there is a follow up session that will improve the result of the previous one.
The next session takes place about 1 month after the follow up session.
Do not delay the repetition of your sessions, as this can affect the time required for the results to be optimal!
Number of Sessions
The number of repetitions of laser hair removal sessions, varies from person to person, since each body is different.
On average, 7-10 sessions will be needed to reduce hair growth and possibly eliminate it.
Factors affecting the frequency and number of repetitions:
Hormonal disorders
Skin and hair color
Area of application
Comparison with other hair removal methods
Razors, waxes, and hair removal machines can be cheaper and shorter options, but the pain and discomfort caused by their side effects make them prohibitive for skin health.
They can cause:
Skin irritation
foliculitis
inflammations
allergic reactions
Laser hair removal, on the other hand, does not affect the skin or internal organs of the body. Using monochromatic light and selective photothermolysis, they purposefully destroy only the hair follicle. And most importantly, it offers permanent results!
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to do special preparation before having a session?
If you have applied another method of hair removal, you will have to wait for the hairs to grow a few millimeters. All you may have to do is get a local anesthetic cream if you are going to apply laser hair removal to your face or bikini.
Can I have laser hair removal on a tattoo?
Unfortunately, this is not possible, as the application of the laser can cause discoloration of the tattoo. However, since the Alexandriti laser machine we have provides the possibility for targeted hair removal, you can apply it to the area around the tattoo without any problems.
Can I have hair removal even in summer?
In some areas, such as the armpits and the bikini and generally in areas that do not have much sun exposure, laser hair removal can be done even in summer. However, regardless of the time when the laser was applied, if it concerns an area that is not covered by clothes, it is necessary to use sunscreen in the area for at least 7 days after the session.
Does laser hair removal have any side effects on the lymph nodes?
The lymph nodes are located quite deep and far from the surface of the skin. The laser only purposefully destroys the hair follicle and does not penetrate inside the body, nor does it affect the internal organs.
